With the ongoing stress of the pandemic, students also have to worry about maintaining their grades. Juggling with school while isolating during the pandemic is overwhelming and can have a toll on one’s mental health. Being away from friends, classmates, and teachers makes it much harder. Taking care of your mental health is just as important as maintaining your grades for school.

As a student, it is important to give yourself a mental break from all the studying and incorporate activities that you enjoy in your daily schedule. You can watch your favorite show, read a book, bake, play a game, call a friend, or anything that you enjoy doing. Doing something that you enjoy will not only boost your mental health but will also help you focus better in school. Additionally, setting up virtual study sessions with friends and classmates can help lower school stress.

However, it is equally as important to not fall behind in school. It is much easier to get distracted and procrastinate during online school; and, if schoolwork piles up, it is going to add to your stress. Therefore, it is important to come up with a balanced schedule that allows you to stay on top of your school work while being able to do the activities that you enjoy.
