How do I boost my mood on a bad day?

We all have bad days every once in a while where we feel lost, confused, frustrated and nothing goes our way. As a human being, I go through the same feelings when I have a lot on my plate. The key to overcome this is being calm and not letting your surroundings affect your head. Some things you could do is spend time with family, talk to your friends, watch a movie, or do something you enjoy doing. When you feel down do not ignore what your mind is trying to tell you. You need to distract yourself and do something which will make your head, body, and soul feel better. On a bad day, you need to sit down and tell yourself that you will get through this day. Sometimes, your mood will be unchangeably sour or melancholic, which is normal because we all have those days. What you can do is take interest and learn something new. Doing so will help you distract yourself while having fun and being creative. If you feel overwhelmed, do the following to calm down: fill a jug with water and glitter; shake it; and watch it settle to the bottom. If you take a deep breath while doing so, you will feel your heart racing normally; this is the best way to calm down. At the end of the day, always be confident and happy. When your mind gets diverted, drive it back and talk positively to yourself. Tell yourself you can do this! Life is what you make it!
