The stability of your mental state is very important; your psychological health is not only reflective of your mind’s coherence, but it is also directly correlated with the health of your body and soul.
However, humans tend to go through intensive journeys throughout their lives. We might feel alone and sad, causing our mental health to worsen. During these times, it’s important to remember that you need to control your mind and not let it divert onto negative subjects. Doing so is extremely hard and takes a lot of attentive behaviour, but in the end, having more control over your mind is worth the effort. Check in with yourself for at least 5 minutes each day. Ask yourself, what’s happening with me right now? How do I feel? Am I okay? How am I feeling at this moment? Remember, stress is also a huge contributor to a troubled mental state, so do things you enjoy! Getaway and watch your favourite movie, call your friend, or spend time with your family and get your mind off of what’s bothering you for a while! Acknowledge what is happening and think about your immediate next steps instead of the bigger picture. We take baby steps in order to climb the ladder to the top. You need to talk positively to yourself and understand that things take time; you need to be optimistically patient.
I want you to, every morning, wake up with good energy and tell yourself you will be productive. Doing so will help your mind focus on your priorities. Sometimes, I don’t feel so good either and I need to check-in with myself. Personally, what works really well for me is working out. I’m able to focus on my body, feelings, and my mind; maybe you can give that a shot and see how it goes!
Essentially, try to reduce the amount of stress your body, mind, and soul carry. Eating well and working out typically helps the body, while making a list of all your tasks helps calm the mind. To connect to yourself spiritually, try expressing yourself! Using music as your therapy is a great way to spend some time just for yourself.
Keeping your mind, body, and soul in check helps keep your mental state healthy, although there are a magnitude of insignificant occurrences that can interfere with your development. A friend surpassing your follower count, thinking that someone looks better than you on social media, or dwelling on awkward social interactions are all minor events that should not affect your growth. Avoid social comparison; instead, use examples of success and motivation! You are always there for yourself and you will push through everyday. I believe in you! I hope all of this helps and you are able to keep your mind stable while pushing through! You are loved!
