If you feel like you’re either going through or coming out of a depressive period, be aware of the symptoms that may arise, such as frustration, trouble concentrating, loss of interest, and pains that don't have any obvious physical cause. Remember everyone reacts differently, so your symptoms may be different. When your depressive period starts, try to identify what happened in that moment. It can be anything from just entering school to picking up the mail. Making notes about your depressive period helps you notice trends; deducing what lunged you into depression helps you pinpoint your inner conflict, and you can start to cope with a corresponding method to help you through this problem. When you figure out this trend, be sure to accept and understand what causes your depression. If you don't want to do anything about it, at the very least you should just go outside for a thirty-minute walk. This would allow you to get fresh air and focus on your environment, resulting in you to become in a state of awareness. You should also create a schedule from here on out in order to keep yourself busy. Lastly, ensure that you're getting the right amount of sleep. This is imperative because lack of sleep is associated with depressive episodes. It's all about figuring out the problem is and overcoming it!
