Start a discussion with your doctor who is prescribing you the medication. He or she might not understand your circumstances because they are just your doctor, so make sure you tell them what is going on. Many provinces around the country have different prescription plans, so try searching online for any programs you are eligible for that may be given assistance by the government. For now, your doctor may be able to give you some free samples that are usually given to physicians. For the long term, your doctor may take out certain prescriptions that you may not need, saving you money. You may also want to look around other pharmacies as they may be other places that are less expensive.
